One of Kerrys Greenways

Listowel to Limerick

Beginning in the lively historical town of Listowel and stretching through scenic countryside to the beautiful town of Abbeyfeale, the Listowel to Limerick Greenway unfolds 16 kilometres of rolling hills and river valley for visitors to breathe in. This part of the Kerry Greenways explores a lush and picturesque landscape along the northern slopes of the River Feale, through woodland settings and fern-adorned tunnels.
For visitors looking to spend more time in the Irish countryside, the route connects in Abbeyfeale to the Limerick Greenway, which continues into County Limerick, offering more than 50km of Greenway to enjoy in total from Listowel. This stretch will bring you to lovely market towns like Newcastlewest and Rathkeale.
